GDPR & Data Protection

Last updated: October 25, 2026

GlowPulse respects your privacy and protects your personal data. This page explains the data protection rights available to individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other places with similar data protection laws, and how to exercise them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

The data controller for personal data collected through getglowpulse.com is:

GlowPulse
30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States
Email: care@getglowpulse.com

2. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Erase your data in certain circumstances
  • Restrict certain processing
  • Data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing that took place before

These rights are subject to conditions and exceptions under applicable law.

3. How to Make a Request

Email care@getglowpulse.com with the subject line "Data Request", and include your name, the email used for your order and what you would like us to do. We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting on a request. We respond within one month of receiving a valid request, as required by the GDPR. In some cases this period may be extended as the law allows, and we will tell you if that happens.

4. Correcting Your Information

You can update your account details at any time, or email us with the information that needs to be corrected.

5. Data Portability

Where required and technically feasible, we will provide your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or send it directly to another organization at your request.

6. Right to Erasure

You may ask us to delete your personal data when it is no longer needed, when you withdraw consent, when you successfully object to processing, or when deletion is legally required. This right is not absolute. We may keep certain data where needed to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations, document transactions, handle warranty claims or disputes, or prevent fraud.

7. Marketing Communications

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email. We will still send service messages related to your orders, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, return or refund information and replies to your support requests.

8. Legal Bases for Processing

  • Contract: to process and deliver your order, handle returns and provide warranty service
  • Legitimate interests: to run and improve our store, prevent fraud and keep our services secure, where these interests are not overridden by your rights
  • Consent: for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, where required
  • Legal obligation: to meet tax, accounting and other legal requirements

9. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfill your order, provide warranty and support, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

GlowPulse is operated from the United States, and our service providers, including Shopify, may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent UK mechanisms.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards and work with reputable providers. Payments are processed by secure third-party payment processors, and we do not store your full card details. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern, but you are not required to.

13. Changes to This Page

We may update this page from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
